حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بُرْقَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَدِينِيِّ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْفُقْ بِمَنْ رَفَقَ بِأُمَّتِي وَشُقَّ عَلَى مَنْ شَقَّ عَلَيْهَا.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Rabi’a, from Ja’far ibn Burqan, from Abdullah al-Madini and others, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Allah, be gentle with whoever is gentle with my nation, and be harsh upon whoever is harsh with it."
