حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْخَزَّازُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أَهَلَّ بِأَطْيَبِ مَا قَدَرْتُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ طِيبِي.
English Translation
Aisha reported: Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish asked the Prophet (peace be upon him): "I have prolonged bleeding (istihadah) and I do not become pure. Should I stop praying?" He said: "No, that is only a vein. But leave prayer for the days you used to menstruate, then bathe and pray."
