حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ قَلَائِدَ هَدْيِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ بِهَا فَمَا يَجْتَنِبُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا يَجْتَنِبُ الْمُحْرِمُ.
English Translation
Aisha reported: Abu Bakr entered upon me, and there were two girls from the Ansar singing about what the Ansar said on the Day of Bu'ath. She said: They were not professional singers. Abu Bakr said: "Musical instruments of Shaytan in the house of the Messenger of Allah?" That was on the day of Eid. The Messenger of Allah said: "O Abu Bakr, every people has a celebration, and this is our celebration."
