حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ فِي الْوُضُوءِ وَالتَّرَجُّلِ وَالتَّنَعُّلِ وَقَالَ وَكِيعٌ مَرَّةً الِانْتِعَالِ.
English Translation
Aisha reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to prefer starting with the right side in his ablution, combing his hair, and putting on his shoes. Waki' said once: putting on shoes.
