English Translation
Waki' narrated to us: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Wa'il, from Masruq, from Aisha, who said: A Jewish woman entered upon me and mentioned the punishment of the grave, and I disbelieved her. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered upon me, so I asked him, and he said, "She spoke the truth. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, they are indeed punished in their graves such that the animals can hear their sounds."
