حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاخْتَرْنَاهُ فَهَلْ كَانَ طَلَاقًا.
English Translation
Waki' narrated to us: Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid narrated to us, from al-Sha'bi, from Masruq, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave us the choice, and we chose him - was that a divorce?
