حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْرَائِيلُ الْمَعْنَى عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا نَبْنِي لَكَ بِمِنًى بَيْتًا أَوْ بِنَاءً يُظِلُّكَ مِنْ الشَّمْسِ فَقَالَ لَا إِنَّمَا هُوَ مُنَاخُ مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَيْهِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, he said: Isra'il and Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us - he said Isra'il informed me, the meaning being the same - from Ibrahim ibn Muhajir from Yusuf ibn Mahak from his mother from Aisha, who said: I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, shall we not build for you at Mina a house, or a structure to shade you from the sun?' He said: 'No, it is only a resting place for whoever gets there first.'
