English Translation
Umar ibn Hafs, Abu Hafs al-Mu'ayti, said: Hisham ibn Urwah narrated to us from his father from Aisha, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'Will you not take a kunyah?' She said, 'By whom shall I be named?' He said, 'Be named after your son Abdullah' - meaning Ibn al-Zubayr. So she came to be called Umm Abdullah.
