حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ فَإِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي قَالَ أَقْرَبِهِمَا مِنْكِ بَابًا حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَيْمِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Hajjaj told us, they said: Shu'bah told us, from Abu Imran, from Talhah - Ibn Ja'far said: ibn Abdullah - from Aisha: that she asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, "I have two neighbors, so to which of them should I send a gift?" He said, "To whichever of them has the nearer door to you." Rawh told us, he said: Shu'bah told us, from Abu Imran, from Talhah, a man of Quraysh from Banu Taym ibn Murrah, from Aisha: that she asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he mentioned the like of it.
