English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, he said: Shu'bah told us, from Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, he said: I heard Abu Salamah say: I entered upon Aishah and asked her about the washing of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, from major ritual impurity. She said: "His vessel would be brought to him, and he would wash his hands three times, then pour from the vessel over his private parts and wash them, then pour with his right hand over his left and wash it, then rinse his mouth and snuff up water in his nose, then pour water over his head three times, then wash the rest of his body."
