حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ سَيَّارٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي الْمِخْضَبَ فَيَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ بَعْدَمَا يُصْبِحُ ثُمَّ يَظَلُّ يَوْمَهُ ذَلِكَ صَائِمًا.
English Translation
Hushaym told us, from Sayyar, from al-Sha'bi, from Aishah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to come to the basin and wash himself from major ritual impurity after dawn had come, then he would remain fasting that day."
