حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْزَمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهَا إِنَّهُ مَنْ أُعْطِيَ حَظَّهُ مِنْ الرِّفْقِ فَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ حَظَّهُ مِنْ خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَصِلَةُ الرَّحِمِ وَحُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ وَحُسْنُ الْجِوَارِ يَعْمُرَانِ الدِّيَارَ وَيَزِيدَانِ فِي الْأَعْمَارِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad ibn Abd al-Warith narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Mihzam narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim: al-Qasim narrated to us, from Aisha: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her: Whoever is given his share of gentleness has been given his share of the good of this world and the next; and maintaining family ties, good character, and good neighborliness give life to homes and increase lifespans.
