حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً قَالَتْ لِعَائِشَةَ أَتَجْزِي إِحْدَانَا صَلَاتَهَا إِذَا كَانَتْ حَائِضًا قَالَتْ أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ قَدْ كُنَّا نَحِيضُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَا يَأْمُرُنَا بِقَضَاءِ الصَّلَاةِ.
English Translation
A woman said to Aisha, "Does one of us make up her prayers when she has been menstruating?" She said, "Are you a Kharijite? We used to menstruate in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he did not order us to make up the prayer."
