حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ إِنَّمَا هِيَ سُهَيْلَةُ بِنْتُ سَهْلٍ وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَهَا بِالْغُسْلِ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ فَلَمَّا شَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَجْمَعَ الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ بِغُسْلٍ وَاحِدٍ وَبَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِغُسْلٍ وَاحِدٍ وَأَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ لِلصُّبْحِ.
English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from his father, from A'ishah, who said: "She was only Suhaylah bint Sahl, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had ordered her to perform ghusl for every prayer; but when that became difficult for her, he ordered her to combine Zuhr and Asr with a single ghusl, and Maghrib and Isha' with a single ghusl, and to perform ghusl for Fajr."
