حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحَجَبِيُّ عَنْ أُمِّهِ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَّكِئُ عَلَيَّ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ فَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ.
English Translation
Ali ibn Asim narrated to us: Mansur ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Hajabi informed us, from his mother Safiyyah bint Shaybah, from A'ishah, Mother of the Believers, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would recline against me while I was menstruating, and recite the Qur'an."
