حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَنْبِذَ فِي الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ.
English Translation
Affan told us: Abu Awana told us, from Ash'ath ibn Sulaym, from Abdullah ibn Ma'qil al-Muharibi, who said: I heard Aisha say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade us from making nabidh in gourds, tarred vessels, and stone jars.
