حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ مَرِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَضَعْتُ يَدِي عَلَى صَدْرِهِ فَقُلْتُ أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَنْتَ الطَّبِيبُ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَلْحِقْنِي بِالرَّفِيقِ الْأَعْلَى وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالرَّفِيقِ الْأَعْلَى.
English Translation
Surayj told us: Nafi' told us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah: A'ishah said: the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, fell ill, and I placed my hand upon his chest and said: "Remove the affliction, Lord of mankind; You are the Healer, and You are the One who cures." And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, kept saying: "Join me with the Companion on High; join me with the Companion on High."
