English Translation
Harun told us: Abdullah ibn Wahb told us, and Haywah said: Abu Sakhr informed me, from Ibn Qusayt, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from A'isha, wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered a horned ram that walked in black, looked out from black, and knelt on black (i.e., black around its eyes, mouth, and legs). It was brought to him to sacrifice, and he said: "O A'isha, bring the knife." Then he said: "Sharpen it with a stone." She did so. Then he took it and took the ram, laid it on its side, and slaughtered it, saying: "In the name of Allah, O Allah, accept this from Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and from the nation of Muhammad." Then he, peace and blessings be upon him, sacrificed it.
