حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنْ اللَّيْلِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسٍ لَا يَجْلِسُ إِلَّا فِي الْخَامِسَةِ فَيُسَلِّمُ.
English Translation
Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to pray thirteen rak'ahs at night, performing the Witr with five, not sitting except in the fifth, then giving the salutation.
