حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حِينَ مَاتَ رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ بُكَاءَ الْحَيِّ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ عَذَابٌ لِلْمَيِّتِ فَأَتَيْتُ عَمْرَةَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهَا فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَهُودِيَّةٍ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَبْكُونَ عَلَيْهَا وَإِنَّهَا لَتُعَذَّبُ وَقَرَأَتْ { وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى }.
English Translation
Aisha reported: "When Rafi' ibn Khadij died, Ibn Umar said that the weeping of the living over the dead is a punishment for the dead. I went to Amra and mentioned that to her, and she said that Aisha said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) only said about a Jewish woman: You are crying over her while she is being punished.' And she recited: 'No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another.'"
