English Translation
Abd al-A'la told us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delayed the Isha prayer until Umar b. al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, called out to him, "The women and children have gone to sleep." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out and said, "No one among the people of the earth is praying this prayer except you." And at that time no one prayed it except the people of Madinah.
