حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُخَمِّسْ السَّلَبَ.
English Translation
Abu al-Mughirah told us, saying: Safwan b. Amr told us, saying: Abd al-Rahman b. Jubayr b. Nufayr told me, from his father, from Awf b. Malik al-Ashja'i and Khalid b. al-Walid, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not take a fifth from the spoils.
