حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ وَيُونُسُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَبُو شُجَاعٍ وَقَالَ يُونُسُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ أَبِي شُجَاعٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ قَالَ يُونُسُ الْمَعَافِرِيِّ عَنْ حَنَشٍ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ اشْتَرَيْتُ قِلَادَةً يَوْمَ فَتْحِ خَيْبَرَ بِاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ دِينَارًا فِيهَا ذَهَبٌ وَخَرَزٌ فَفَصَّلْتُهَا فَوَجَدْتُ فِيهَا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ دِينَارًا فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَا تُبَاعُ حَتَّى تُفَصَّلَ.
English Translation
Hashim and Yunus narrated to us, they said: Layth bin Sa'd narrated to us — Hashim said: Sa'id bin Yazid Abu Shuja' narrated to us — and Yunus said: from Sa'id bin Suwayd Abu Shuja' al-Himyari, from Khalid bin Abi Imran — Yunus said: al-Ma'afiri — from Hanash as-San'ani, from Fadalah bin Ubayd al-Ansari, who said: I bought a necklace on the day of the conquest of Khaybar for twelve dinars, containing gold and beads. I took it apart and found in it more than twelve dinars' worth. I mentioned that to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: It must not be sold until it is separated into its components.
