English Translation
Muhammad bin Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Bakr bin Hafs, from Abu Abdullah, from Abu Abdur-Rahman, who said: I was sitting with Abdur-Rahman bin Awf when Bilal passed by, and he asked him about wiping over the khuffs. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would go to relieve himself, and I would bring him water; he would perform ablution and wipe over the turban and over the khuffs.
