حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى وَعَبْدَ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ بِلَالٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ.
English Translation
Waki' and Muhammad bin Ja'far narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Layla — Ibn Ja'far said in his narration: I heard Ibn Abi Layla — and Abdur-Razzaq informed us: Sufyan informed us, from al-Hakam, from Ibn Abi Layla, from Bilal, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wiped over the khuffs and the head-covering.
