English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Sufyan informed us, from Uthman al-Batti, from Abd al-Hamid al-Ansari, from his father, from his grandfather, that his grandfather accepted Islam but his wife refused to accept Islam. He brought a young son of his who had not yet reached puberty. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) seated the father here and the mother there, then gave him the choice and said: "O Allah, guide him," and he went to his father.
