English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Sulayman, from Abu Uthman, from Salman, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "Allah, Mighty and Sublime, created one hundred parts of mercy. Of these, one part of mercy by which creation shows mercy to one another, by which the wild beasts show tenderness to their young; and He held back ninety-nine until the Day of Resurrection."
