English Translation
Mu'awiyah ibn Amr told us: Za'idah told us: Umar ibn Qays al-Masir told us, from Amr ibn Abi Qurrah, who said: Hudhayfah was in al-Mada'in, and he used to mention things that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had said. Hudhayfah came to Salman, and Salman said: "O Hudhayfah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to become angry and say things and then be pleased. I know well that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon and said: 'Whichever man of my nation I curse with a curse in my anger, or whom I curse with a curse, then I am only a son of Adam; I become angry as they become angry. I was only sent as a mercy to the worlds, so make it a prayer of blessing upon him on the Day of Resurrection.'"
