English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, Wasil narrated to us, from Abu Sawrah, from Abu Ayyub: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to use the tooth-stick at night twice or three times, and when he rose to pray at night, he would pray four rak'ahs, not speaking nor commanding anything, giving the taslim after every two rak'ahs. And by the same chain: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he performed ablution, would rinse his mouth and wipe his beard from underneath with water.
