حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ حُذَيْفَةَ فَمَرَّ رَجُلٌ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ هَذَا يُبَلِّغُ الْأُمَرَاءَ الْأَحَادِيثَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ.
English Translation
It was narrated to us by Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Hammam ibn al-Harith, who said: We were with Hudhayfah when a man passed by, and they said: 'This man conveys reports to the rulers.' So he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: A talebearer will not enter Paradise.'
