حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ رَفَعَهُ مَرَّةً إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُخْرِجُ اللَّهُ قَوْمًا مُنْتِنِينَ قَدْ مَحَشَتْهُمْ النَّارُ بِشَفَاعَةِ الشَّافِعِينَ فَيُدْخِلُهُمْ الْجَنَّةَ فَيُسَمَّوْنَ الْجَهَنَّمِيُّونَ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ الْجَهَنَّمِيِّينَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رِبْعِيَّ بْنَ حِرَاشٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَهُ.
English Translation
It was narrated to us by Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Hajjaj, who said: It was narrated to us by Shu'bah, from Hammad, from Rib'i, from Hudhayfah — Shu'bah said: he attributed it once to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him — who said: 'Allah will bring out a people who stink, whom the Fire has scorched, through the intercession of the intercessors, and He will admit them into Paradise, and they will be called the People of Hell (al-Jahannamiyyun).' Hajjaj said: 'al-Jahannamiyyin.' It was narrated to us by Abu al-Nadr, who said: It was narrated to us by Shu'bah, from Hammad, who said: I heard Rib'i ibn Hirash narrate from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he mentioned it.
