English Translation
It was narrated to us by Waki', who said: It was narrated to us by Yazid ibn Ibrahim, from Ibn Sirin, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, went out and Hudhayfah met him, so he turned away from him and performed a full bath (ghusl), then came back. He said: 'What is the matter with you?' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I was in a state of major ritual impurity.' The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'The Muslim does not become impure.' It was narrated to us by Waki', who said: It was narrated to us by Mis'ar, from Wasil, from Abu Wa'il, from Hudhayfah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, similarly — that he met the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and turned away from him and performed a full bath, then came back. He said: 'The Muslim does not become impure.'
