حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, Shu'bah told us, from Yahya b. Husayn, from his grandmother, she said: I heard the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "May God have mercy on those who shave their heads, may God have mercy on those who shave their heads, may God have mercy on those who shave their heads." They said, the third time: "And those who shorten their hair?" He said: "And those who shorten their hair."
