English Translation
Abu Qatan told us: Yunus told us, from Jurayy an-Nahdi, who said: I met an elder of Banu Sulaym at al-Kunasa, and he told me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, counted five on his hand, or on my hand, and said: Glorification (tasbih) is half of the scale; praise (hamd) fills it; magnification (takbir) fills what is between heaven and earth; fasting is half of patience; and purification is half of faith.
