حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَفَعَ الرَّايَةَ إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ.
English Translation
Zayd ibn al-Hubab told us: Husayn ibn Waqid told me: Abdullah ibn Buraydah told me, from his father: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, handed the banner to Ali ibn Abi Talib on the day of Khaybar.
