حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالْخَوَاتِيمِ.
English Translation
Yazid narrated to us: Abu Ghassan Muhammad ibn Mutarrif narrated to us, from Abu Hazim, from Sahl ibn Sa'd, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A man may do the deeds of the people of the Fire while he is in truth among the people of Paradise, and a man may do the deeds of the people of Paradise while he is in truth among the people of the Fire; indeed, deeds are judged by their endings.
