قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَصْرَمَ بْنِ فِهْرِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ فِي الِاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ الَّذِينَ بَايَعُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْعَقَبَةِ الْأُولَى.
English Translation
He said: I read to Ya'qub ibn Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: Ubadah ibn al-Samit ibn Qays ibn Asram ibn Fihr ibn Tha'labah was among the twelve who pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, at the First Aqabah.
