English Translation
Waki' told us, from Abu al-Umays, Amir ibn Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr told us, from al-Zuraqi who is called Amr ibn Sulaym, from Abu Qatada: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray while his daughter was on his shoulder. He said once: he carried Umamah while he was praying, and when he wanted to bow or prostrate he would set her down, and when he stood up he would pick her up again.
