حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةَ مِنْ اللَّهِ وَالْحُلْمَ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِذَا حَلَمَ أَحَدُكُمْ حُلْمًا يَخَافُهُ فَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَضُرُّهُ.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever forgets a prayer, let him pray it when he remembers it. There is no expiation for it other than that."
