حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ وَعِصَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اسْتَقِيمُوا تُفْلِحُوا وَخَيْرُ أَعْمَالِكُمْ الصَّلَاةُ وَلَنْ يُحَافِظَ عَلَى الْوُضُوءِ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَقَالَ عِصَامٌ وَلَا يُحَافِظُ.
English Translation
'Ali ibn 'Ayyash and 'Isam ibn Khalid narrated to us, they said: Hariz ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Maysarah, from Thawban, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Be upright and you will prosper. The best of your deeds is prayer, and none preserves his ablution except a believer." 'Isam said: "and he does not preserve."
