حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الذِّمَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ فَشَهْرٌ بِعَشَرَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَصِيَامُ سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ بَعْدَ الْفِطْرِ فَذَلِكَ تَمَامُ صِيَامِ السَّنَةِ.
English Translation
al-Hakam ibn Nafi' narrated to us, Ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Yahya ibn al-Harith al-Dhimari, from Abu Asma' al-Rahabi, from Thawban, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan, then a month equals ten months, and fasting six days after al-Fitr completes the fasting of a full year."
