زِيَادَات الْقُطَيْعِيِّ قَالَ ابْنُ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلَامِ النُّبُوَّةِ الْأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ.
English Translation
Additions of al-Qati'i: Ibn Malik said: al-Fadl ibn al-Hubab narrated to us: al-Qa'nabi narrated to us: Shu'ba narrated to us: Mansur narrated to us, from Rib'i, from Abu Mas'ud, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "Indeed among what people have retained from the words of the earlier prophethood is: 'If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.'"
