حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ وَيَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُوتِرُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ اللَّيْلِ وَأَوْسَطِهِ وَآخِرِهِ.
English Translation
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, who said: al-Dastawa'i and Yazid informed us — al-Dastawa'i informed us: Hammad narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Abu Abdullah al-Jadali, from Uqba ibn Amr Abu Mas'ud, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): that he used to pray Witr in the early part of the night, its middle, and its end.
