حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ سَفِينَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَاطَ نَاقَتَهُ بِجِذْلٍ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَهُمْ بِأَكْلِهَا.
English Translation
Waki' told us, from 'Ali — that is, Ibn al-Mubarak — from Yahya, from Safinah, that a man struck his she-camel with a stick, so he asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, [about it], and he ordered them to eat it.
