حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ امْسَحُوا عَلَى الْخِفَافِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَوْ اسْتَزَدْنَاهُ لَزَادَنَا.
English Translation
Abu 'Abd al-Samad al-'Ammi told us, Mansur told us, Ibrahim b. Yazid al-Taymi told us, from 'Amr b. Maymun, from Abu 'Abdullah al-Jadali, from Khuzaymah b. Thabit al-Ansari, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Wipe over the leather socks for three days, and had we asked him for more, he would have given us more."
