حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَبَاءَ رِجْزٌ أَهْلَكَ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْأُمَمَ قَبْلَكُمْ وَقَدْ بَقِيَ مِنْهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ شَيْءٌ يَجِيءُ أَحْيَانًا وَيَذْهَبُ أَحْيَانًا فَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ فِي أَرْضٍ فَلَا تَأْتُوهَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ يُحَدِّثُ سَعْدًا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ هَذَا الْوَجَعَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar told us, from al-Zuhri, from Amir ibn Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, from Usamah ibn Zayd, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: This plague is a punishment by which Allah destroyed the nations before you, and something of it remains on earth, coming at times and going at times. If it falls in a land, do not leave it, and if you hear of it in a land, do not go to it. Abu al-Yaman told us, Shu'ayb told us, from al-Zuhri, Amir ibn Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas informed me, that he heard Usamah ibn Zayd relate to Sa'd that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned this disease, and he related the hadith.
