حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ أَنَّ أُخْتَهُ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَمْشِيَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ قَالَ مُرْ أُخْتَكَ أَنْ تَرْكَبَ وَلْتُهْدِ بَدَنَةً.
English Translation
Uqbah ibn Amir came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and mentioned that his sister had vowed to walk to the House. He said: 'Tell your sister to ride and offer a sacrificial camel.'
