English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Shu'bah: Qatadah told us, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan, from Abu al-Darda, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: 'Does any one of you find it difficult to recite a third of the Qur'an in one night?' They said: 'How could anyone manage that?' or 'Who could manage that?' He said: '"Say, He is Allah, the One."'
