حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ أَشَدَّ أُمَّتِي لِي حُبًّا قَوْمٌ يَكُونُونَ أَوْ يَجِيئُونَ بَعْدِي يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ أَنَّهُ أَعْطَى أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ وَأَنَّهُ رَآنِي.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, Abu Salih told me, from a man of Banu Asad, from Abu Dharr, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The strongest of my nation in love for me are a people who will be — or will come — after me, one of whom would wish that he could give up his family and his wealth just to have seen me."
