English Translation
Abu Sa'id narrated to us: Za'idah narrated to us: Yazid narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Abu Dharr, who said: While the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was delivering a sermon, a rough bedouin stood up before him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, the hyena [meaning drought and famine] has consumed us!" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Something else is more fearful for me regarding you: when this world is poured out upon you in abundance. Would that my nation not adorn themselves with gold!"
